In her 1999 "big" reference book of salt and pepper shaker series on page 135, Irene Thornburg first documented this wonderful small series of children with different color flowers around their heads. Each set of children is depicting a different season of the year. The sets are Japan imports from the 1950s-60s. They have a "SONSCO Japan" sticker / foil label. Each set is about 4'' tall with a 3-2 pour hole pattern.
