Ardalt elephant and lion salt and pepper shakers

Standing 6'' tall, these well dressed anthropomorphic animals are wonderfully made.  They are imports from Japan by the Ardalt company in the 1950s.

You can find these sets paired differently amongst themselves, but this is the most common pairing.
