In 1999 Irene Thornburg put three of these long-boy vegetable sets together to form a series in her BIG second reference book on salt and pepper shakers series on page 97.  The long-boy corn set is the 4th possible set discovered in this series.  The only reason we state "possible", is because at least version doesn't have the stamped S&P markings on the top.

The sets are between 8-9'' in length.  You can see that a proper set should be marked "S" and "P" on the tops in black with a 3-2 pour hole pattern.  The sets are variably marked Japan.  Circa 1950s.
